Hi, I'm Ranjan!

I am currently a licensed physiotherapist in Canada, the United Kingdom, and India. I graduated as a physiotherapist from MGR Medical University, India in 2001. In 2008 I obtained a postgraduate exercise rehabilitation degree from Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia where I was involved in a back pain research study with Victoria University & Kieser Training, Melbourne.

In 2001 I started my professional physiotherapy practice in India, later I moved to Australia and worked as a registered physiotherapist for 6 years. During my tenure, I had the opportunity to work with diverse Australian sports teams (AFL, Cricket, and Tennis). I learned my manual therapy techniques from my mentors who were veteran sports physios.

In 2015 I moved to England to take up a Senior MSK chartered physiotherapist role with NHS England, I worked there for 4 years in Cambridgeshire, and I also worked alongside with UK's leading spinal ortho and neurosurgeons at the Fitzwilliam Hospital (Ramsay Health care), UK.

I then returned back to Canada and worked with Montreal's renowned Orthopaedic surgeons at the CBI Health Clinic, Quebec for 3 years before moving to Alberta. I relocated to Alberta in 2023 and worked as a Physiotherapist II at AHS Hospital, and I currently work at Devon Physical Therapy clinic and Tawa Physical Therapy & Sports Injury Clinic in Edmonton.

Over the course of time, I have been working with patients in all age groups and have gathered extensive experience working at various clinical settings like outpatient private clinics, public and private hospitals, long-term senior homes, elite sports clubs, community clinics with cardio, neuro, and orthopaedic specialties.

I am currently an active member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, The Health & Care Professions Council (UK), College of Physiotherapists in Ontario, College of Physiotherapists of Alberta, and a Lifetime member of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists. I was a registered member of Ordre professionel de la physiotherapie (AQP) (2021-2023), Austrailian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (2007-2013) and CSP UK (2015-2019).
